Miami football: How to watch ACC 2024 schedule reveal

The Miami football team will learn the dates of its eight ACC games on "ACC Huddle: 2024 Football Schedule Release Show on Wednesday, Jan. 24, from 5-7 p.m. ET" on the ACC Network and ESPN 2." Thursday and Friday games will be announced on ACC PM on Tuesday.

Miami begins the 2024 season on August 31 at Florida. Florida A&M and Ball State visit Miami in weeks two and three. Miami will travel to South Florida in its final non-conference game in 2024. Miami hosts Duke, Florida State, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

Miami defeated Wake Forest 24-21 in 2013 at Hard Rock Stadium the last time the teams played. Duke, Florida State and Virginia Tech have played at Hard Rock Stadium biennially as annual opponents for Miami since the Hurricanes joined the ACC.

Miami's ACC road games are at California, Georgia Tech, Louisville and Syracuse. Miami is playing at California for the second time in its history. The Hurricanes won 52-24 in Berkeley in 1990. California will join the ACC this summer. Miami has not played at Syracuse since a 49-7 win in 2002 when both were in the Big East.

The Miami game at Georgia Tech will be one the Hurricanes have circled after the demoralizing loss to the Yellow Jackets in 2023. Miami lost 38-31 to Louisville in 2023 at Hard Rock Stadium. Miami has a three-game losing streak versus Florida State and lost their last game versus Duke in 2022 at Hard Rock Stadium.

Miami renews its rivalry with Virginia Tech riding a three-game winning streak. When California, SMU and Stanford joined the ACC the conference re-installed the annual game versus Virginia Tech. Miami hosts Stanford and plays at SMU in 2025. Miami has a favorable schedule in 2024 without playing Clemson and North Carolina.
