The Miami football program is third among the top 12 for four-star Tampa Sumner offensive lineman Ziyare Addison. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine projects Florida State with a 27.3 percent chance for a commitment from Addison, Oregon at 23.9 percent and Miami at 10.5 percent.

Every other program has below a five percent chance for a commitment from Addison per On3. Addison is the 195th prospect, 18th OT and 29th player in Florida in the 2024 Class per the On3 Industry Ranking. Miami OL coach Alex Mirabal is the primary recruiter for Addison.

Addison has taken two unofficial visits to Miami, the most recent in January. Ten other programs have received unofficial visits from Addison. Oregon is the only program with an official visit scheduled per On3. Addison will travel to Eugene the weekend of June 7. Addison previously visited Oregon the weekend of March 16.

Colorado, Nebraska and Stanford are the only programs in Addison's top 12 that have not received an unofficial visit. The Buffaloes, Cornhuskers and Cardinal are all long shots for Addison, at this point. Addison is the top-ranked OT in Florida in the 2025 class. Miami has a commitment from three-star 2025 OT Lamar Williams.

Addison is a multi-sport athlete who wrestles and has run a 12.84 in the 100-meter dash and a 25.58 in the 200-meter dash as a sophomore per 247 Sports. Andrew Ivins, the 247Sports Director of Scouting reported that Addison has a 6;10 wingspan and has primarily played tackle but his celing could be a guard.

Ivins projects that Addison should be a multi-year Power Conference starter who can play multiple spots on the offensive line depending on his body development. Addison will likely need to add body mass before he's ready to be a starter, per Ivins. Expect Addison to be a priority in the 2025 Miami class.
