The Miami football program is in position to flip five-star defensive lineman Armondo Blount and four-star prospects, cornerback Xavier Lucas and running back Jordan Lyle per multiple recruiting outlets. All three prospects are current committed to other programs but trending to Miami. Blount, Lucas and Lyle all visited Miami this weekend.

Blount was committed to Miami in September before flipping to Florida State following an official visit in October. All signs point to Blount flipping back to Miami this week. Blount posted a picture of himself throwing up the U on X on Friday. Blount's mother stated on X he is not taking anymore visits before Wednesday.

Miami is working hard on five-star Chaminade-Madonna wide receiver Jeremiah Smith who is committed to Ohio State. Smith is expected to sign with the Buckeyes.

No matter what happens this week, Miami should sign a top 10 recruiting class for the second consecutive year. Cristobal has made a huge impact for Miami in recruiting as expected. Miami needs the talent on the roster to begin to translate to success on the field. Next year will be a pivotal season for Cristobal.
