Miami football questions for 2024 ACC Kickoff

Mario Cristobal and three key players will take the podium next week at ACC Kickoff days. There are several key questions for Cristobal and each of his players at ACC Kickoff.

Mario Cristobal will be joined by left tackle Jalen Rivers, linebacker Francisco Mauigoa and quarterback Cam Ward as the representatives for the Miami football program in Charlotte for ACC Kickoff Days on July 25 in Charlotte. Each of them will answer questions from the media.

Mauigoa and Rivers return for Miami in 2024 after starting all 13 games in 2023. Ward is one of the highest-ranked 2024 transfer QBs after leaving Washington State for Miami in the 2024 portal. Mauigoa, Rivers and Ward will all be key players for Miami in 2024.

The time for the Miami contingent at ACC Kickoff Days has not been set. Miami will appear with Boston College, Duke, Louisville and Wake Forest on July 24. Miami does not play Boston College this season. The Hurricanes do play Duke, Louisville and Wake Forest.

Most of the Miami positions have projected starters in 2024. Positions to watch are left guard, edge rusher, defensive tackle, linebacker and safety. Edge rusher, LB and safety each have one position open as a starter with the other(s) to be filled during training camp in August.
