Questions for Mario Cristobal.

Cristobal enters the 2024 season at a pivotal turning point during his Miami tenure. A 12-13 start during Cristobal's first two seasons as Miami's head coach is not what was expected when he was hired in December 2021. Expect the importance of this season to be a major point of discussion at ACC kickoff days.

Other questions for Cristobal could lean more on the current positives of the program. Miami is trending towards signing its third consecutive top 10 class. The 2024 transfer class led by running back Damien Martinez and Ward ranks 10th nationally. Miami has upgraded the roster talent under Cristobal.

Questions for Ward.

Ward is the key player for Miami to have a breakout season in 2024. The addition of Ward is expected to upgrade the consistency at QB for Miami in 2024. Ward is a playmaker at QB who has the mobility to make something happen when the play called breaks down. Ward has an elite group of wide receivers to throw to in 2024.

Questions for Ward should include how he has adapted to the Miami football program and the connection he has with the WRs. Houston transfer Sam Brown and Miami returnees Jacolby George and Xavier Restrepo all had over 800 yards in 2023. Miami is potentially one of the best passing offenses nationally in 2024.
