Miami football standing ahead of 5-star WR Jaime Ffrench Tuesday official visit
The Miami football program will host five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench for his official visit on Tuesday per Tom Loy and Gaby Urritia of 247Sports. Loy reported on Friday "No single leader on top for....Ffrench." Miami will be the second official visit Ffrench takes per his 247Sports profile.
LSU hosted Ffrench the weekend of May 31. Ffrench has official visits scheduled for the weekend of June 14 to Tennessee and June 21 to Texas per 247Sports. Ohio State was previously the leader for a Ffrench commitment this spring. There are three 247Sports crystal balls projecting Ffrench to Ohio State.
Texas has more recently been the projected leader for a Ffrench commitment. The Longhorns have a 49.1 percent chance for a commitment from Ffrench per On3. Ohio State is second with a 22.0 percent chance for a Ffrench commitment per On3 and LSU is third at 16.1 percent.
Florida State is listed as the fourth favorite per On3, but the Seminoles have not been one of the five programs recently mentioned by Ffrench. LSU, Miami, Ohio State, Tennessee and Texas are the five programs Ffrench lists as his favorites without a single leader on top.
Ffrench will be joined on his official visit with Miami by four-star WR Vernell Brown III. Miami is re-calibrating their WR list in the 2025 class with Waden Charles no longer committed. Ffrench will reportedly announce his commitment on August 30. Ffrench is listed as the 18th prospect, fourth WR and third in Florida in the 2025 class.
Miami currently has the 39th ranked 2025 class. The Hurricanes signed four-star WRs Ny Carr, Chance Robinson and Joshisa Trader in the 2024 class. Expect Trader to receive significant snaps as a true freshman. Miami has a good foundation at WR for at least the next two years with the last two classes.
