The Rivals.Com Futurecast projects Ohio State with a 67.0 percent chance for a Carter commitment. Carter's recruitment appears to be open with eight days remaining until he announces his commitment.
Carter took official visits to all five of his finalists in June. Carter is the 396th prospect, 42nd DL and 54th player in Florida in the 247Sports composite rankings. Brian Dohn of 247Sports quoted Carter saying that no one builds relationships in recruiting better than the Miami football staff.
Florida has hosted Carter the most frequently, with 13 visits. Central Florida hosted Carter seven times, followed by five to Florida State and three to Miami. No other program has hosted Carter more than twice. Recruiting analysts frequently state to follow the visits before a prospect makes commitments.
