Miami football standing with uncommitted DL who took official visits

Most of the defensive linemen who took official visits with the Miami football program in June remain uncommitted.

Most of the defensive linemen who took official visits to the Miami football program in June remain uncommitted. Miami does not have a 2025 commitment from a player listed as a DL by 247Sports or On3. Three-star edge rusher Henry Scroggins is the only player committed to Miami on the defensive line in the 2025 class.

Defensive linemen and edge rushers are listed separately by 247Sports and On3. The DL listed by 247Sports and On3 vary. Some differences were DL listed as an edge rusher and others were who visited. Miami had seven official visitors in June from DL per 247Sporrs and nine by On3.

Edge rusher Iose Epenesa is listed as an edge rusher by 247Sports and a DL by On3. Five-star defensive tackle Justus Terry is only listed as taking an official visit to Miami by On3. Seven other DL took official visits to Miami in June. Three of the official visitors have committed to other programs.

Four-star DL Myron Charles to Florida State and Javeon Campbell (listed as an edge by 247Sports) to Kentucky and three-star Derry Norris to Georgia Tech are the players who committed to other programs that took official visits to Miami. That leaves five DL who took official visits to Miami uncommitted.

Anna Adams, a 247Sports recruiting analyst and former Clemson beat writer logged the only crystal ball for Mathis to Miami. The On3 RPM projects LSU with a 30.6 percent chance for a Mathis commitment, Clemson second at 20.3 percent, followed by Auburn at 17.4 percent and Miami at 14.5 percent.

Both 247Sports crystal balls project Adirika to Penn State. The On3 RPM gives Miami a 72 percent chance for an Adkrika commitment.
