The Miami football program lacks an offensive tackle and wide receiver in their 2025 class. Miami has offensive commitments from quarterback Luke Nickel, running back Girard Pringle Jr., tight ends Luka Gilbert and Brock Schott and interior offensive lineman Takaylen Muex in the 2025 class.

Wide receiver appears to be a priority for Miami in the 2024 class. Miami hosted four-star wide receivers Vernell Brown III and Jaime Ffrench on Tuesday for official visits. Four-star Oregon WR commit Dallas Wilson is taking his official visit to Miami this weekend.

Four-star WR Joshua Moore and three-star wideout Daylyn Upshaw took official visits to Miami last weekend. Miami hosted four-star WR Tyler Wiliams for his official visit to Miami the weekend of May 31. Miami is currently the leader for a commitment from Moore and Williams.

The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine projects Miami with a 34 percent chance for a commitment from Moore. Florida is second for a Moore commitment at 30 percent. Miami has a 29 percent chance for a Williams commitment. Georgia is second for a commitment from Williams at 29 percent.

The offensive line will continue to be a high priority for Miami under Mario Cristobal. Three-star offensive Jaden Wilkerson visited Miami the weekend of May 31. Three-star OT Demetrius Campbell visited Miami last weekend. No OTs are scheduled to take official visits to Miami through the end of June.

Interior OL Max Buchanan and Isaac Sowells Jr. are taking official visits to Miami this weekend. Interior OL Seuseu Alofaituli is scheduled to take his official visit to Miami the weekend of June 21. Miami previously hosted IOL Cortez Smith the weekend of June 7.

Continue keeping an eye on OT and WR in the 2025 Miami class. If Miami can gain a commitment from Brown, Ffrench, or flip Wilson who is committed to Oregon, they will have a foundational WR in the 2025 class. Building depth at the skill positions is the last part of Cristobal's rebuilding of Miami's roster.
