Miami football top 3 pre 4-star CB Jaboree Antoine July 20 commitment

The Miami football program was named with Florida State and LSU as finalists for four-star cornerback Jaboree Antoine ahead of his July 20 commitment announcement.

Four-star cornerback Jaboree Antoine will decide between the Florida State, LSU and Miami Football programs ahead of his July 20 commitment date as he announced on Monday. Hayes Fawcett of On3 was the first to report the July 20 commitment date on Monday.

Antoine initially posted to X on Saturday an announcement that his commitment date would be coming next week. Miami hosted Antoine for an official visit the weekend of May 31. Antoine took an official visit to Florida State the weekend of June 14. The official visits preceded Antoine's de-commitment from LSU on June 23.

Antoine is the 71st prospect, eighth CB and second player in Louisiana out of New Iberia Westgate in the 2025 class. Antoine would be the second-highest-ranked commit in the 2025 Miami class behind safety Hylton Stubbs. Miami currently has the ninth-ranked 2025 class in the 247Sports composite rankings-

Miami previously received commitments from CBs Chris Ewald and Timothy Merritt in the 2025 class. Safeties Stubbs and Amari Wallace are also committed to Miami in the secondary for 2025. Miami will find out on July 17 if they will receive a commitment from five-star defensive back D.J. Pickett.

Antoine has bonded with Miami secondary coach Chevis Jackson and defensive coordinator Lance Guidry. Jackson played at LSU and Guidry is from Louisiana. Antoine told Rivals "the communication has been consistent. Coach (Chevis) Jackson and (Lance) Guidry are real straight-up with me,"

There is one 247Sports crystal ball projecting Antoine to LSU. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine projects Antoine to LSU at 89.3 percent. Other reports claim Antoine's recruitment is more open between Florida State, LSU and Miami. With 11 days left until Antoine announces his commitment, it seems wide open.

Miami has been hot in the 2025 class since Merritt committed to the Hurricanes on June 8. Merritt was the first of 11 commitments in the last 31 days. Miami is in a position to sign a top-10 class for the third consecutive year.
