National recruiting analyst Steve Wiltfong of On3 projected the Miami football program will receive commitments from cornerback Chris Ewald, safety Amari Wallace, defensive lineman Derry Norris and offensive lineman Jaden Wilkerson in a post on Wednesday. Wilkerson committed to Miami on Wednesday after Wiltfong's post.

With the prediction from Wiltfong that Ewald will commit to Miami, the Hurricanes now have a 90.7 chance for a commitment from the Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna star per the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. Ewald is visiting Georgia this weekend. Ewald will announce his commitment between Georgia and Miami on June 27.

Three-star cornerback Timothy Merritt is the only defensive back committed to Miami in the 2025 class. Four-star linebacker Elijah Melendez is the only other defensive player committed to Miami for 2025. Ewald and Wallace would be big boosts to the 2024 Miami recruiting class.

Ewald is the 162nd-ranked prospect, 20th cornerback and 23rd player in Florida in the 2025 class in the On3 Industry Rankings. Michigan previously held a commitment from Ewald. Ewald de-committed from Michigan in January when head coach Jim Harbaugh resigned to become the head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers.

Miami is up to a 97.3 percent chance for a Wallace commitment following the prediction by Wiltfong the Miami Central safety will commit to the Hurricanes. Wallace is the 240th-ranked prospect, 22nd safety and 34th player in Florida in the 2025 class per On3. Wallace took an official visit to Miami last weekend.

Louisville will host Wallace for an official visit this weekend. The Cardinals and Hurricanes are the only programs Wallace will take official visits with per his On3 profile. Wallace has taken one unofficial visit to Auburn and Florida. The recruitment for Wallace appears to be between Louisville and Miami.

Miami has a 90.7 percent chance for a commitment from Norris following the prediction from Wiltfong. Norris is the 542nd prospect, 47th defensive lineman and 70th player in Florida out of Port Orange Spruce Creek. Miami is still awaiting its first commitment from a DL in the 2025 class.

Wilkerson was the third OL and second in 24 hours to commit to Miami in the 2025 class. Offensive tackle Demetrius Campbell committed to Miami on Tuesday. Three-star IOL Takaylen Muex committed to Miami earlier this month. On3 ranked the 2025 Miami class 21st nationally and second in the ACC.
