The Miami football program is hosting eight official visitors on offense this weekend, led by quarterback Luke Nickel, who is already committed to the Hurricanes. Miami is hosting one five-star prospect, one four-star and five three-star prospects for official visits this weekend. Nickel is a three-star prospect.

Five of the six commits in the 2025 Miami class are on offense. Tight ends Luka Gilbert and Brock Schott, running back Girard Pringle Jr. are four-star offensive prospects in the 2025 Miami class. Nickel and interior offensive lineman Takaylen Muexps are three stars. Miami currently has the 38th-ranked 2025 class.

In addition to Nickel, Miami will host two wide receivers, two offensive tackles and an interior offensive lineman this weekend. Four-star 2025 WR Waden Charles de-committed from Miami last month. Miami signed four-star WRs Ny Carr, Chance Robinson and Joshisa Trader in the 2024 class.

On offense, this weekend will be highlighted by four-star WR Dallas Wilson. Wilson is currently committed to Oregon. Flipping Wilson would be huge for Miami WR coach Kevin Beard. Beard was the 25th-ranked recruiter nationally and third in the ACC in the 2024 class. The number in each player's profile is his national ranking in the 2025 class.

Wilson is the 25th prospect, fifth WR and fourth player in Florida in the 2025 class. Wilson is the highest-rated offensive official visitor this weekend. Miami is one of three official visits Wilson will take in June. Wilson will visit Florida the weekend of June 14 and Oregon beginning June 21. Florida State will host Wilson this fall.

Smith is the 125th-ranked prospect, sixth interior offensive lineman and 17th prospect in Georgia in the 2025 class. Georgia currently holds two 247Sports crystal balls for Smith. The Bulldogs have a 93.7 percent chance for a Smith commitment per the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

Miami is currently a distant third behind Florida and Florida State in the recruitment for Moore. The On3 Recruitment Prediction Machine projects Florida with a 42.3 percent chance for a commitment from Moore, FSU at 37.0 percent and Miami at 8.5 percent. There are no 247Sports crystal balls with a projection for Moore.

Matthews is currently trending to Tennessee via 247Sports and On3. There is one crystal ball logged for Tennessee and On3 projects the Volunteers with a 49.3 percent chance for a commitment from Matthews. Georgia is a close second for Matthews, with a 41.2 percent chance for a commitment.

Nickel is rated three stars by 247Sports and four stars in their composite rankings, which include the other sites. Nickel will work on convincing Moore, Daylyn Upshaw and Wilson to join the 2025 Miami recruiting class this weekend. As a QB, Miami needs Nickel to lead its 2025 recruiting class.

The recruitment of Upshaw is competitive. Auburn is currently the leader with a 31.5 percent chance for a commitment per On3. Florida is second with a 27.5 percent chance for a commitment from Upshaw, followed by Central Florida at 14.4 percent and Miami at 12.0 percent.

Campbell has an industry ranking of the 1,095th prospect, 75th offensive tackle and 134th player in Florida per On3. Without a ranking from ESPN or Rivals Campbell is not currently ranked in the 247Sports composite rankings. Miami is currently the leader for a Campbell commitment at 42.0 percent.

This is a big recruiting weekend for Miami, particularly with Moore and Wilson. Miami could receive a few commitments from this weekend eventually. None of the Miami official visitors this weekend have commitments scheduled soon. The 2025 Miami recruiting class should rise throughout the summer.
