Wide receiver Jacolby George, left guard Matthew McCoy, center Zach Carpenter, right tackle Francis Mauigoa, defensive tackle Andrew Moten and defensive back Darryl Porter Jr. were named to the week four Pro Football Focus All-ACC team after Miami beat Ball State 62-20 on Saturday.

Per David Lake of Inside the U, quarterback Emory Williams' 94.4 grade from PFF was the highest on Miami in week four, followed by starting signal caller Cam Ward at 90.6. Haynes King of Georgia Tech was named the week four All-ACC QB. Mauigoa received the highest grade among the week four Miami All-ACC players at 84.0

Mauigoa received an 80.1 run-blocking grade from PFF and did not allow a sack or QB pressure versus Ball State. Making his second consecutive start, McCoy earned an 81.9 overall grade, 86.9 run-blocking grade and 81.4 pass-blocking grade without allowing a sack or pressure versus Ball State.

Lake listed only the top 10 graded players from PFF. Carpenter did not finish in the top 10 graded players for Miami versus Ball State. Carpenter was named the ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week for his performance in the 41-17 Miami season-opening win at Florida.

"Offensive Line of the Week: Miami Hurricanes
Miami earned Offensive Line of the Week honors with an impressive 84.8 PFF grade in their game against Ball State. The unit allowed just three pressures and no sacks over 42 pass-blocking snaps, with the offense as a whole generating 0.557 EPA per play, the fifth-highest mark of Week 3."

With Carpenter, Mauigoa and McCoy named to the week four PFF All-ACC team it is not surprising they named Miami the national Offensive Line of the Week. Miami averaged 10.6 yards per play, 16.9 yards per completion and 7.8 yards per carry in setting the program record with 750 total yards.

George finished with six receptions for 109 yards and one touchdown with one drop on eight targets. Tight end Elija Lofton who had one TD and WR Xavier Restrepo who scored twice, finished in the top 10 graded players for Miami during week three but were not named to the week four PFF All-ACC team.

Moten received the fifth highest grade for Miami with an 82.4 four versus Ball State. Moten led Miami with an 81.5 grade against the run and had two tackles and one QB pressure. Miami has been able to go deep into their rotation at defensive tackles through the first three games to keep the interior line fresh.

Porter Jr. finished with one tackle and one pass breakup versus Ball State. Miami held Ball State to 6.1 yards per completion. Ball State averaged a paltry 3.41 yards per attempt. The Hurricanes are 10th nationally in 2024 allowing 123.0 passing yards per game and sixth permitting 4.3 yards per attempt.

The performance by Miami on Saturday was as close to domination as a team can get. The fact Ward, Williams, Lofton and Restrepo did not make the All-ACC team while finishing among the top 10 graded Hurricanes is a testament to how dominant Miami was. At South Florida is a much bigger test on Saturday.
