Ty-Laur Johnson started in only eight games for the Cardinals last season but took the court in 30 matchups for Louisville throughout the year.

Johnson averaged 8.7 points, 3.6 assists, and 1.8 rebounds while earning over 23 minutes per game. Once last season wrapped up, Johnson entered the transfer portal and announced he would be joining the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

Heading toward the 2024 season, Johnson is expected to become the starting guard for the Decons but may lack some of the juice necessary to turn the Wake Forest back around.
