As elite transfers get ready to take over the Miami Hurricanes' offense, quarterback Cam Ward from Washington State and running back Damien Martinez from Oregon State, the Canes have a good-looking starting lineup for the 2024 season.

Head coach Mario Cristobal is still looking to find his footing in Miami since taking over the program in 2022.

Hopefully, Cristobal and his offense can get into their grove as a few new faces enter the conference. However, not all are new to Cristobal who coached the Oregon Ducks prior to his current job.

As California and Stanford join the ACC, the Canes shouldn't be too worried about the former Pac-12 teams becoming formidable opponents anytime soon.

So, which conference opponents could be problem children for the Hurricanes this season? Which conference rivals will have impressively strong defensive units that may stall Ward and his new offense?
