The Miami Hurricanes were back near the top of the ACC for the first time in a decade, and the on team standing in the Canes way was the Pittsburgh Panthers.
When Pitt visited Miami for the regular-season matchup, the Panthers were attempting to hold off the Hurricanes' conference title.
In a back-and-forth game, the Canes fought hard, led by guard Wooga Poplar who had 18 points off the bench.
At the end of regulation, the Canes walked away with a 78-76 victory over the Panthers, and their second-ever ACC regular-season conference title.
