The Miami Hurricanes were living the dream during the 2023 NCAA Tournament. In the first round, the Canes easily passed by Drake, followed by a 16-point victory over Indiana in the second round.
Miami had to face the No. 1 Houston Cougars in the Sweet Sixteen.
The Hurricanes were massive underdogs compared to Houston who was led by Jarace Walker and Jamal Shead.
The Cougars were stunned. The country was stunned. Heck, Larrañaga was probably a little stunned.
Miami walked away from the Sweet Sixteen matchup with an 89-75 victory over Houston, and a ticket to the program's second-ever apperance in the Elite Eight.
