Five-star twins power forward Cameron and point guard Cayden are down to Duke and Miami per multiple reports ahead of their October 10 commitment date. The Boozer twins eliminated Florida in their recruitment per numerous reports. Long-time NBA player and former Blue Devil Carlos Boozer is their father.
Cameron Boozer is the second-ranked prospect nationally, the top power forward and player in Florida in the 2025 class. Cayden Boozer is the 21st ranked prospect nationally, the fourth point guard and the fourth player in Florida in the 2024 class. A commitment from the Boozer twins would give Miami the second-ranked 2025 class.
Four-star shooting guard Matthew Able is the lone 2025 Miami commitment. The 6'5 Able provides Miami with excellent size at shooting guard. Able and Boozer would provide Miami big backcourt. Miami signed the seventh ranked 2024 class led by five-star point guard Jalil Bethea.
The Boozers took their official visit to Miami in October 2023 and most recently had an unofficial in Coral Gables on September 11. Duke, Florida and Kentucky also received official visits from the Boozers in the fall of 2023. Florida had the most overall visits with three from the Boozers dating back to 2022.
There are currently no 247Sports Crystal Balls logged for which program the Boozers will commit to. On3 had Florida as the leader for commitments from the Boozer twins. There are two Rivals projections from 2023 that the Boozer twins will commit to Duke. Duke and Miami appear to be even ahead of the October 10 commitment date.
In three seasons at Columbus, Cameron Boozer has averaged 20.7 points per game, 11.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.5 steals and 2.1 blocks. Cayden Boozer has averaged 16.6 PPG, 4.8 RPG, 5.1 APG and 1.8 SPG. The Boozers complement each other. Whoever signs the Boozers will have two projected 2025-26 starters.
