With most National Letters Of Intent signed finalized by Wednesday, the Miami football program has the sixth-ranked combined 2024 class. Miami added 36 new players to its 2024 roster per the 247Sports composite rankings. Miami signed 27 freshmen and nine transfers in the 2024 class.
This is the second straight Miami class that finished in the top 10. Miami finished with the eighth-ranked 2023 class. The Hurricanes signed 26 freshmen and 17 transfers in 2023. Miami ranks third nationally when solely counting for freshmen. The Hurricanes have the highest-ranked ACC freshmen and combined class.
The 2024 Miami signing class has three five-star prospects, 11 four-stars and 13 three-stars. After prioritizing the offensive line in the 2023 class, Miami made the defensive line the point of emphasis in 2024. The plan paid off with all three five-star and three four-star DL signees in the 2024 class.
Cristobal is clearly placing the importance on signing freshmen and adding to the roster with transfers. Other programs have placed a greater influence on transfers. Miami will have five five-star players on its 2024 roster. All five 2024 Miami five-star players are on the line of scrimmage.

Miami's biggest portal signee this cycle was Washington State quarterback Cameron Ward, who passed on an opportunity in the 2024 NFL Draft to play another year of college ball in the ACC."
In addition to Scott, Miami also signed five-star DL Armondo Blount and edge rusher Marquise Lightfoot.
