Six interior offensive linemen took official visits to the Miami football program during the June window. Miami received a commitment from four-star IOL Max Buchanan on Wednesday and from three-star IOL Takaylen Muex in May. Most of the players who took official visits are projected as guards, one is a center.

Using the lists from 247Sports and On3, the other IOLs to visit Miami in June are four-star prospect Cortez Smith, three-star Demetri Manning, three-star Isaac Sowells Jr. and SJ Alofaituli. With Buchanan and Muex committed to Miami, the Hurricanes might be finished gaining commitments from projected guards.

Alofaituli who is projected as a center is likely the prospect to watch for a potential Miami commitment. There are three 247Sports crystal balls logging Alofaituli to Miami with the most recent on Tuesday. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine projects Miami with an 88.3 percent chance for a Alofaituli commitment.

Smith has three crystal balls projecting him to Georgia. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine projects the Bulldogs with a 93.7 percent chance to receive a commitment from Smith. Smith is the 125th prospect, 17th IOL and sixth player in Georgia in the 2025 247Sports composite rankings.

Manning took his official visit to Miami the weekend of June 14. That was three days after he committed to Oregon. Manning is the 634th prospect, 41st IOL and fifth player in Washington out of Bellevue in the 2025 class. Arkansas, UCLA and Washington hosted Manning in addition to Miami and Oregon.

Sowells Jr. is trending to North Carolina State. There is one 247Sports crystal ball projecting Sowells Jr. will commit to the Wolfpack. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine projects Miami with a 53.2 percent chance for a commitment from Sowells. Kentucky is second in the On3 RPM for a Sowells' commitment at 34.8 percent.

Miami is in a good position with commitments from Buchanan and Muex. Buchanan is the 238th prospect, 13th IOL and 36th player in Florida in the 247Sports composite rankings as a consensus four-star recruit. Muex is the 1,050th prospect, 71st IOL and 141st player in Florida in 2025.

Miami head coach Mario Cristobal and OL coach Alex Mirabal have developed OL early in their Miami tenure beyond the recruiting rankings. Right guard Anez Cooper who was a three-star signee in 2022 is entering his third year as a starter in 2024. Under Cristobal and Mirabal the Miami OL will always be a strength.
