During an appearance on the Stugotz podcast on Wednesday, ESPN College Gameday host Rece Davis discussed their process for choosing a location every week. Miami will host ESPN College Gameday from 9 AM Eastern Daylight Time until Noon on Saturday.

ESPN College Gameday will broadcast from the North End of the Lakeside Patio between the Donna E. Shalala Student Center and the Norman A. Whitten University Center Pool. The ACC Network will broadcast from the Miami campus on Friday and Saturday.

ACC PM will be live from Foote Green from 5-7 PM EDT on Friday and air their pregame show, ACC Huddle, live from 10 AM to 12 PM EDT on Saturday. Former Miami quarterback and head coach Mark RIcht is one of the analysts on ACC Huddle.

ESPN College Gameday features former Heisman Trophy winner Desmond Howard, now a Miami resident. Lead ESPN play-by-play announcer Chris Fowler, a Miami Beach resident, will call the Florida at Miami game on Saturday with analyst Kirk Herbstreit.

"We want to find the best storyline of the week...People...say that always has to be the game between two teams that have...highest ranking...What's compelling, where you have been....This is the place to be this week...I still have (Miami) ranked number three on my ballot....I considered putting them number one this week...It's a really talented Florida team that...(won't) be a pushover Saturday...So...it's the right place to be...What's the best atmosphere? And the last time we were at Miami on campus in 2017, that was a tremendous atmosphere. And the folks there tell me it's going to be even better this week. I can't wait to get there. "

Miami last hosted College Gameday on campus when they beat Notre Dame 41-8 in 2017. Davis told Stogotz and his co-hosts that Auburn at Oklahoma was another intriguing game this week but since ESPN College Gameday was previously in Norman in 2025, that was considered.

Former Oklahoma quarterback Jackson Arnold is returning to Norman with Auburn on Saturday. Indiana hosting Illinois on NBC, Texas Tech at Utah on Fox and Auburn at Oklahoma on ABC are the only games to feature two ranked opponents in week four. Fox is hosting Big Noon Kickoff from Salt Lake City.

Florida at Miami is always a compelling game. The Hurricanes and Gators played annually from 1988 through 1987. Saturday night is the 10th game between Florida and Miami since 1987, with two of those meetings in bowl games and in 2019 in Orlando.

There are no future games scheduled between Florida and Miami. The Florida State versus Miami rivalry is more well-known and had a bigger impact on college football nationally. Florida and Florida State play annually. Florida at Miami should create more national interest than the games between ranked teams in week four.

The atmosphere should be electric for ESPN College Gameday. With ACC Huddle also on campus, Miami will be the first school to host both pregame shows in the same weekend. Coral Gables will have the attention of college football fans nationally on Saturday morning.

Miami head coach Mario Cristobal will appear on ESPN College Gameday on Saturday morning. Cristobal will make his pitch for the Miami football program and what makes Coral Gables and the Hurricanes a special place to play.
