During her Eras tour on Friday at Hard Rock Stadium, Taylor Swift paid tribute to the Miami Hurricanes by wearing an orange and green outfit. This was the first of three nights Swift is performing at Hard Rock Stadium on her Eras tour. Per the Miami Herald, Swift wore the orange and green outfit as a nod to her 1989 era.

Swift was born in 1989 and Miami won its third national championship in the same year. Swift has become a presence at Kansas City Chiefs games since she began dating tight end Travis Kelce in July 2023. Kelce played college football at Cincinnati. Swift stated to the crowd "Miami! We are so back! That’s right,"

Two of Swift's new songs, The Tortured Poets Department and Fornight mention Florida. A lyric from Fortnight states"Florida is one hell of a drug/Florida, go on [expletive] me up” per the Miami Herald." Performing in inclement weather Swift stated “I officially declare this a rain show,"

Swift praised the crowd stating "The volume you are singing every one of these songs is astonishing." The orange and green worn by Swift was solely done at the Hard Rock Stadium concert per the Herald. Swift will finish her Eras tour with three nights at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, Canada from December 6-8.

Tickets for the remaining Swift shows at Hard Rock Stadium start at $966 on Saturday night and $999 for the final show on Sunday per Vivid seats. Swift also has shows remaining in Indianapolis, New Orleans and Toronto remaining on the Eras tour before heading to Vancouver.

The Miami Hurricanes will return to Hard Rock Stadium for the first time in over four weeks when they host Florida State on October 26. Miami attempts to extend their season-beginning winning streak to seven games when they play at Louisville on Saturday with a noon kickoff on ABC.
