With seven games remaining, the Miami Hurricanes will play the remainder of them against ACC foes. Thus far, the Hurricanes have proven that they can win against any level of competition. When analyzing the opponents of the Miami Hurricanes, one could conclude that this year's Hurricanes are capable of defeating every opponent they face in the ACC.

There are some teams within the Atlantic Coastal Conference that play the Hurricanes tough, regardless of each program's record. Syracuse, Pittsburgh, and Virginia Tech have been opponents that typically play well against the Miami Hurricanes. The Syracuse Orange and Virginia Tech Hokies have historically given the Canes "fits" when the Hurricanes program were among the top tier of college football programs many years ago.

Last season, the SMU Mustangs emerged as one of the top programs in the ACC (SMU entered the ACC Conference in 2024). This season, both teams will play against each other on November 1st. On the following week, the Hurricanes play against the Syracuse Orange, one of two teams in the ACC last season that defeated the Miami Hurricanes, which spoiled the Canes chances of competing on a grand stage. (Preferably the ACC Championship and College Football Playoff). Fortunately for the Hurricanes, the majority of the ACC teams they will encounter are not having as strong of a season, compared to the Canes.

Entering into ACC conference play for the remainder of the season, the Miami Hurricanes are primed to run the table in the conference. This is not to say that the Hurricanes will not become challenged by their conference opponents.

The Canes are expected to win the remainder of their games, which was previously stated, but the Hurricanes must continue to have a "workman-like approach." Coach Mario Cristobal has helped change the mindset and culture of the Miami Hurricanes. Cristobal and the Hurricanes would like nothing more than to culminate ACC play with a chance to prove that they belong in the coveted championship game in the ACC.
