At 6'4.5 and 250 pounds, Lowe possesses impressive length as an edge rusher but needs to further develop physically. Andrew Ivins, the 247Sports Director of Scouting, provided an overview of Lowe's performance during the All-American Bowl week and in the game in his scouting report.
"Took a major step forward from a developmental standpoint between junior and senior campaigns before a promising showing at the Navy All-American Bowl where he totaled three quarterback pressures."Andrew Ivins 247 Sports Dir. of Scouting
Ivins observed Lowe is more effective as an edge rusher, but can also move inside similar to Miami rising junior defensive lineman Rueben Bain. Lowe is projected as a future first-round pick by Ivins and is compared to New York Giants star Kayvon Thibodeaux who played under Mario Cristobal at Oregon.
Miami has signed a deep group of edge rushers in the past three classes. Entering the 2025 season DL coach Jason Taylor needs to continue the development of the young players at the position and for them to produce in 2025 Lowe should have an opportunity to contribute for Miami as a true freshman.
