After losing 86-85 in the final seconds at Virginia Tech last month, the Miami Hurricanes will attempt to even the season series on Saturday at the Watsco Center. Miami earned wins in its last two home games versus Notre Dame and Syracuse. Virginia Tech lost 54-36 at Boston College in their most recent game on Tuesday night.

For the second consecutive game, a Miami player will face his former team. Forward Matthew Cleveland spent his first two seasons at Florida State, which Miami lost to on Wednesday. Center Lynn Kidd transferred to Miami from Virginia Tech during the 2024 offseason.

Kidd had seven points, eight rebounds and one block at Virginia Tech last month. Cleveland leads Miami averaging 16.3 points per game and he contributes 4.3 rebounds per contest.
