After Cam Ward went first overall in the 2025 NFL Draft on Thursday, Elijah Arroyo went in the second round with the 50th overall pick to the Seattle Seahawks in the second round on Friday. That leaves multiple Miami players available that are expected to be drafted in rounds four through seven on Saturday.
The NFL Draft commences on Saturday at noon Eastern Daylight Time. Edge rushers Elijah Alston and Tyler Baron, offensive lineman Jalen Rivers, linebacker Francisco Mauigoa running back Damien Martinez and wide receivers Sam Brown, Jacolby George and Xavier Restrepo highlight Miami players who could be drafted Saturday.
Who the best player is from Miami entering Saturday depends on the website. In their fourth-round mock draft, CBS Sports projects Baron to the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles with the 111th overall pick. Chris Trapasso of CBS Sports said, "Baron is a thick rusher with refined hand work.
Trapasso's CBS Sports colleague Josh Edwards lists the best remaining players in the NFL Draft with their original ranking on their big board. Baron was the 118th best overall prospect entering the 2025 NFL Draft by CBS Sports and Martinez was 131st. No other Miami players are listed by Edwards.
ESPN has Martinez as the 32nd best available player entering the fourth round, Baron is 47th, Rivers 60th, Restrepo 106th, Mauigoa 151st, kicker Andres Borreagales 171st and wide receiver Sam Brown 179th among their top 200 players available entering the fourth round.
Pro Football Focus lists the top available prospects at every position. Martinez is the third-best available RB, Restrepo the third-best WR and Rivers the third-best offensive tackle among the only Miami players in the top five who are undrafted at their position.
Several Miami players will be drafted on Saturday. If three more players are drafted from Miami, that would be the most Hurricanes selected in the NFL Draft since 2019. Miami has not had six players selected in an NFL Draft since 2018. Saturday should be a productive day for Miami alums.
