Xavier Restrepo moved up to No. 50 in the final "Ranking the top 100 college football players of the 2024 season by ESPN." Restrepo began the season at No. 66. The leading receiver on the top offense nationally, Restrepo had a second-consecutive record-breaking season.
Restrepo had 69 receptions for 1,127 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2024. A year after setting the single-season Miami record with 85 receptions, Restrepo became the first Hurricane with two seasons of over 1,000 yards receiving. Restrepo finished his career as the most productive receiver in Miami history.
After 46 receptions in his first three seasons, Restrepo established himself as Miami's top WR in 2023. Restrepo followed up his 2023 season by becoming a consensus All-American in 2024. At a school full of legendary WRs, Restrepo established himself as one of the best in program history.
In 2024, Restrepo put together an impressive season, recording six games with at least six receptions and another half dozen where he surpassed 100 yards in receiving. As a three-star prospect from Deerfield Beach in the 2020 class, Restrepo outperformed expectations. Restrepo ranks with the greats in 2024 and Miami history.

Restrepo finished his Miami career with two of the top four seasons in receptions and two of the top six in receiving yards. Three of the top 10 games in receptions also belong to Restrepo. Restrepo led the ACC in receiving yards and receiving TDs in 2024, a season after finishing second in the conference in receptions and receiving yards.
Entering October, Restrepo was projected as the 114th prospect by the NFL Mock Draft Database. Restrepo is now 69th on the NFL Mock Draft Database big board. Developing from a three-star recruit to a projected second-round draft is indicative of the hard work Restrepo put in at Miami.
With his accomplishments in the last two seasons, Restrepo will someday be inducted into the University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame. Expect to see Restrepo continue his success in the NFL beginning next season.
