Shortly after the news broke that Junior running back Gus Edwards would miss the entire season with a foot injury, The Miami Hurricanes Football team released their depth chart for the week one matchup against Bethune Cookman. Our very own Juan Toribio broke down the full depth chart release last night, but here we’ll take a moment to focus on the few true freshman that were impressive enough to break into the initial two-deep for the Canes’ 2015 season. Heading into the season opener, The Miami Hurricanes currently have eight true freshman in the two-deep rotation and they should all see plenty of action against Bethune Cookman. Five of these freshman are on the offensive side of the ball, while only two are on defense, and one is exclusively a specialist. Now let’s take a look at what to expect from each of these individuals.
