The Miami Hurricanes All-Time Team

The Miami Hurricanes should be dubbed forever as “NFL U”, so when it came to creating an “All-Time Team” it came with some major difficulty (or ease, depending on how you look at it).
There were so many unbelievably talented football players that not only had amazing college careers at Miami, but went on to dome incredible things in the NFL.
In fact, I’d challenge my Miami Hurricanes All-Time Team vs. any other school’s, All-Time Team.

With so many past studs coming out of Miami, there’s easily an argument for other players to take the place of my chosen two-players-per-slide. Thus, in order to choose this specific team (in many cases) I went by a player’s accolades (both college and pro), NFL Draft position and simply, the eye test.
As a program alone, the ‘Canes have been tagged with: “QB U,” “RB U,” “WR U,” “DB U,” “TE U,” and “LB U.” So, you can just imagine my dilemma. However, for some positions in need of depth (and really a reason to add more studs), I did add an additional slide with two more players at the position.
In the end, I guess being a program with so many greats is a great problem to have. It showcases how well Miami recruited, coached up their players and created unity & brotherhood. Furthermore, it proves to be located in the midst of possibly the most talent rich city in the country (when it comes to football).
A football program producing so much talent and has a winning tradition as does Miami, should continue to attract future stars in years to come.
