A Beach Front City Under the Bright Lights

I’m sure you’ve heard of the famed saying, “I’m going to take my talents to South Beach.” And, thank you Lebron James for all those championships.

That’s right, the city of Miami has been able to lure some of the greatest athletes of our time. There’s also a reason for it.

Who wouldn’t want to showcase their skills in a big market or be near some of the greatest beaches and nightlife in the world? In addition, it has year round warm weather, a multicultural diversity and an awesome food scene.

Miami is a big city with glitz and glamour and a whole lot to offer.

We’re talking about Miami here. Not a Knoxville or a Columbus or a Tuscaloosa.

I get it, as a recruit you’ve been pitched the “college life” or a ” real college atmosphere” or “the greatest fans”.

Sorry for yawning in your face.

So, while you’re stuck in that little ole college town, freezing your socks off during those winter months and probably far far away from your family, just remember those Miami student-athletes. You know, the ones not suffering.
