"“I’ve been waiting,..Obviously the combine went how it went and that was one of the most frustrating parts of it because I was so ready and so worked up to run there and show that many people those things. To come out here and do it finally, and I don’t know what it was exactly but the consensus was mid-4.4, it felt good.”"

Mark Richt noticed the difference as well. Richt sang the praises of all his players as any good coach would. His complements of Berrios seemed more than that.

Richt said Berrios “exploded….(and this his 40 time was) 4.4, mid-4.4, in that range”

The Palm Beach Post’s Matt Porter further discussed Berrios workout results on Pro Day and the teams he has met with.

"“One had him as low as 4.35 seconds. The highest reported was 4.47. His vertical jump (36 inches) and 20-yard shuttle (4.02, despite a slip on the artificial turf) were quality, too. Berrios said he has interviewed with “all teams” for various lengths of time, but spent extended time with New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles, Tennessee Titans, Oakland Raiders and Carolina Panthers.”"

The Hurricanes Gridiron boss also said that he thinks Berrios would be a good fit anywhere in the NFL.

"“Because I watched him play the last couple years,…He was the most dominating offensive player we had last year. He took over the Florida State game, in my opinion. Without him, we don’t win that one. It happened all year long. There’s no matchup too big for him.”"

Berrios should be a sleeper in this year’s draft. It took him until his Senior Year to reach his potential. He’s a perfect slot receiver and his ability to play special teams will give him an excellent chance to make a roster out of training camp.
