"“Cager was getting there, getting there and it’s like, OK he’s starting to come along…And then the last scrimmage he didn’t grade out so well. It wasn’t one of his better days in that scrimmage. I would like to see more out of him getting consistent. Actually him and Langham, my two bigger guys, I want to see those guys play bigger. They have to play to their true size and dominate. I want Langham’s role to expand. The one thing we’ve got to do at that position is improve taking from the classroom and individual drills to live drills. We haven’t done that on a consistent basis.”"

Dayall Harris is another wide receiver to watch. Richards has been limited in Spring drills while he recovers from the torn MCL he suffered during the week of practice for the ACC Championship game. Dugans spoke about his recovery and when he will be expected to participate.

"“He’s been running some routes, catching some balls. That’s just about it…One time he ran a route, he didn’t have his brace on. What are you doing, man? I think he feels good. I am glad to see him back out here.”"

If Cager and Langham cannot elevate their games Dugans and Head Coach Mark Richt have many other options. Rising Sophomores Jeff Thomas and Mike Harley have been impressive this Spring. Miami also brings in a stellar Freshman class at wide receiver.

Wide receiver is unquestionably the deepest position Miami has on the team. Richards is also likely to bounce back and perform closer to 2016 form that earned him Freshmen All-America status.
