Greensboro.Com Sports Writer Brant Wilkerson expects Miami to continue their success of 2017 He is on the bandwagon of the biggest question that has surrounded the Miami football team over the last ten years or so. Wilkerson believes the answer is yes.

"9. (Is) The U is back “Miami was 10-0 before faltering late last season, and the Hurricanes are here to stay. Mark Richt is as respected as any coach in college football and does an excellent job in the media day setting. All-American safety Jaquan Johnson brings star power, and when the ‘Canes are good, the ACC is better for it.”"

Most of the ACC outside of Tallahassee, and Blacksburg, Virginia realize the draw that the Hurricanes have nationally. There have been 97 ESPN 30 for 30’s televised with one more scheduled. Only nine have involved College Football. Three of those were about the Hurricanes.

The first two were directly about Miami. The third was the so-called Catholics versus convicts rivalry between Miami and Notre Dame.

Miami had eight games last season ranked in the top five nationally in the weekly television ratings for College Football and ten in the top ten. An 11th game finished 11th in the weekly ratings. Gameday’s visit to Miami’s Coral Gables campus for the Notre Dame game also finished in the top ten for the week besting several games.

The Miami Hurricanes beat writers also proposed their own questions. Veteran writer Christy Chirinos Cabrera of the Sun-Sentinel and the Palm Beach Post’s Anthony Chiang who is taking over for Matt Porter posted their questions earlier yesterday.

Chiang also wondered about if Rosier will continue to be the Miami starter at quarterback. He reiterated a lot of what Richt has said throughout the offseason.
