Bama Hammer speculated that Saban might not have been ready to promote Enos to Offensive Coordinator. That very well could have led to Enos’ departure to Coral Gables.

"“What is now known is Nick Saban never became sold on elevating Enos to the OC role. At most, it was going to be a co-OC role, or maybe just continuing as a QB coach. Saban’s preference (is) to have co-OCs.”"

At Miami Enos is likely to have full say in the offense as Diaz did as Defensive Coordinator under Mark Richt. The Miami football staff added Butch Barry as Offensive Line Coach and Eric Hickson as the Running Backs Coach under Enos. The Tight Ends and Wide Receivers Coaching hires are still fluid.

All sorts of rumors are rampant about who will fill those spots and possible transfers or players who have been on the Miami football roster possibly returning. Wide receiver Jeff Thomas who was dismissed in November and had committed to Illinois, removed any mention to the Illini on his Twitter account.

Former Miami wide receiver Sam Bruce who was dismissed in 2017 as a Freshman and was higher rated than Thomas in the same recruiting class has expressed an interest in returning to Miami after attending Junior College the last two seasons.
