Miami Football 2019 schedule announced: FSU later in the season
After the bye week following the visit from Louisville, Miami plays what is a designated road game, but actually closer to their campus then Hard Rock Stadium.

FIU hosts the Hurricanes at Marlins Park on November 23. The game is being played there because the agreement was that the Panthers Ricardo Silva Stadium is too small.
Silva seats only 20,000. The only choices were really Marlins Park or Hard Rock Stadium. Christy Chirinos of the Sun-Sentinel reported the Panthers did not want to play the game at Hard Rock because it would have been too much of a home game for the Hurricanes. The Miami Beach Bowl was played at Marlins Park from 2014-16.
The Miami football team will conclude the regular season with the only other team they have finished the regular season against since 2013 other than Pittsburgh, Duke.
The Hurricanes owe the Blue Devils after a 20-12 loss at Hard Rock Stadium last season. Miami has owned the series with a 13-3 advantage.
Miami outgained Duke 411-290 in the loss. The Hurricanes lost despite rushing for 300 yards. The game was played in a deluge. Duke was the first road team to win a regular season game at Hard Rock Stadium since 2016.

Duke will have a different look next season. Three-year starting quarterback Daniel Jones decided to forego his Senior season and enter the NFL Draft. Manny Diaz’s defense has done a good job against the Blue Devils offense the last three season. The Hurricanes need Dan Enos’ New Miami Offense to produce in Durham.
