The trip to the Steel city halts the Hurricanes usual regular-season finale against the Panthers. Miami has played Pittsburgh in the final regular season game in five of the six seasons that the Panthers have been in the ACC.

The week following Pittsburgh is the Hurricanes big Biennial game at Florida State. Miami has defeated the Seminoles the last two seasons. They had a dramatic 24-20 victory at Doak Campbell Stadium in 2017 on a Malik Rosier to Darrell Langham touchdown pass with six seconds remaining.

Last season Miami had to overcome a 27-7 deficit at Hard Rock Stadium with an epic comeback to win 28-27. The winning score in the fourth quarter came when Redshirt Freshman N’Kosi Perry connected with True Freshman tight end Brevin Jordan on a 41-yard touchdown pass.

Miami hosts Louisville in an ACC Crossover game the week after traveling to Florida State. It will be the first time the Hurricanes and Cardinals have met since the shellacking Miami took at what was formerly known as Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. It will be Louisville’s first game in Miami as a member of the ACC.

The Hurricanes have the week off after the visit from Louisville which will be Senior day for the Hurricanes. It will be an emotional game as the all Senior linebacking corps will be among those honored.
