Miami Hurricanes football alums, tight end Will Mallory and cornerback Tyrique Stevenson are projected to be selected in the NFL Draft this weekend. The Miami baseball team begins a big weekend series at Louisville on Thursday night. Nijel Pack is one of 242 early entrants into the NBA Draft.

Stevenson is projected as the consensus 70th pick by the NFL Mock Draft Database and Mallory is projected as the 169th overall pick. That would place Stevenson in the middle of the third round and Mallory as the second pick in the sixth round. The third round is Friday night and the sixth round will be late on Saturday.

The Miami Hurricanes baseball team enters the weekend 26-15 overall and 12-9 in the ACC. Louisville is 27-13 overall and 8-10 in the ACC. Miami enters the weekend tied with Virginia for second in the ACC a half-game behind Duke. The Hurricanes are competing to host a regional in the NCAA Tournament in June.

Michelle Kaufman of the Miami Herald reported late on Tuesday night that Pack entered his name for the NBA Draft27 before the 11:59 PM ET deadline on Sunday night. Pack joins teammate Norchad Omier entering his name into the 2023 NBA Draft. Omier and Pack have both left open the possibility of returning to Miami.

Pro Football Focus projects Stevenson to be selected 47th overall in the second round by the Washington Commanders. That is significantly higher than the 70th spot in the consensus NFL Mock Draft Database that Stevenson is projected to be selected at. PFF projects Mallory 180th overall.
