4-star OT Jimmy Kalis sets decision date as Miami battles Ohio State, Georgia and Texas

Four-star Pittsburgh Central Catholic tackle Jimmy Kalis is set to announce his commitment live on the Rivals YouTube channel on Friday, April 17, choosing from Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Ohio State and Texas. The announcement is scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday.

Miami in final six for 4-star tackle Jimmy Kalis ahead of Friday commitment

Kalis is the son of former NFL offensive tackle Todd Kalis, and his brother Kyle Kalis also spent time in the NFL.

Rivals Industry Ranking lists him as the No. 234 overall prospect, the No. 21 offensive tackle and the No. 8 player in Pennsylvania. He measures in at 6-foot-7 and 290 pounds. 247Sports ranks him No. 197 nationally, No. 24 among offensive tackles and No. 9 in Pennsylvania.

Kalis plays for one of Pennsylvania's better programs. Central Catholic won 13 games in 2025, with Kalis as the starting left tackle. Central Catholic won the WPIAL Class 6A title and reached the PIAA Class 6A state final.
