What an amazing two days it has been for future Miami Hurricanes pass-rusher Hayden Lowe, who recently made things official by signing with the ACC powerhouse. On Wednesday, Lowe saw a bump in the 247 rankings, pushing him to a 5-star prospect.
Boom. Then on Thursday, things got even better for him. The team over at On3 decided to release its final rankings as well, with Lowe also getting his jump to a fifth star. That's not all, though, as the youngster has gone from the No. 284 player in the nation to No. 27. That's right, he climbed up 257 spots to enter the Top 30. That's remarkable!
Miami signee Hayden Lowe is now a 5-star prospect according to On3
Lowe is coming off a spectacular senior year and he also turned plenty of heads at the recent All-American Bowl. He's got a bright future and the good news for head man Mario Cristobal is that this kid can't wait to make plays for him.
Not only that, but his addition is also going to be massive for new defensive coordinator Corey Hetherman. Hetherman recently arrived in town for former DC Lance Guidry, who was fired after the 2024 season - Guidry has since landed on his feet with LSU and Brian Kelly.
Hetherman assured the Miami faithful that his unit is going to be ready to play fast and they're going to be ready to play physical, something which wasn't the case for the Canes defense this past campaign. Luckily, there are plenty of new faces ready to make an impact next fall.
The long list of course includes Lowe, who perhaps has done more than any other 2025 recruit in the country to build his hype/stock over the past five months. He'll now make his way to Coral Gables as a 5-star stud, which is only going to help his confidence moving forward.
