With the pace of how Miami and Mario Cristobal are landing elite talents, sometimes it's hard to keep track of all the 5-stars who are Coral Gables-bound. Just recently, though, wideout Nick Lennear went ahead and gave everyone, including Cristobal, a fresh reminder that he's fired up to make plays for the Canes down the road.

In case you missed it, Lennear and his Miami Carol City teammates were in action to open up the new campaign, with things coming down to the wire. Lennear came up huge for his team, posting an acrobatic touchdown to win things. As you could have guessed, the speedster was jacked up following the win, but he also didn't mince words with his direct message to Cristobal and Co.

5-star Miami commit Nick Lennear knows he'll be an impact player for Mario Cristobal

It's easy to agree with what Lennear had to say there, as the young man is easily one of the best playmakers in the country. Despite picking up more than 20 offers throughout his recruitment, it was pretty much written in the stars that the local wideout was going to stay close to home to suit up for Miami after his high school days wrap up.

Lennear will make the move to campus with a ton of hype surrounding his name and understandably so. According to the 247Sports Composite, he's ranked five stars, the No. 3 wide receiver in the nation, and No. 12 player overall. Again, several schools were chasing his pledge, but there was never a doubt that Miami was going to come out on top of this recruiting battle.

And looking ahead to when he does join Miami, he's going to be part of a memorable 2027 class. Thus far, Cristobal has five 5-stars in the mix, with Lennear, QB Israel Abrams, CB Donte Wright, EDGE Jaiden Bryant, and WR A'mir Sears all with a seat at the table. This speaks to the incredible work Cristobal is getting done in building such a special group of '27 studs.

He's not done, as there continues to be buzz that EDGE target DJ Jacobs, an Ohio State commit, could still be on flip watch leading up to the Early Signing Period. Regardless of if that comes to fruition or not, guys like Lennear have the Miami faithful ecstatic for how the program is going to look for the next 4-5 years. The more Lennear keeps making eye-opening plays too, the more pumped up everyone is going to be for him to finish up high school and be a superstar for Miami.
