Brysen Wright has a lot of guys in his ear trying to recruit him to the Miami Hurricanes.
The five-star prospect and top-rated wide receiver in the 2028 class is teammates with Miami quarterback commit Knox Annis, so there's always something talking up the 'Canes to Wright. But the elite recruit from Jacksonville Mandarin is also hearing from members of Miami's 2027 recruiting class, most notably five-star commits Nick Lennear and A'mir Sears.

"It's an elite class for sure, a very good class. I'm just ready to see what they do and how they play," Lennear said.
He added that putting him with talents like Lennear and Sears would be "crazy."
5-star target Brysen Wright has Miami out front in a tight recruiting race
Cristobal and staff have made Wright one of their top targets in the 2028 class. Listed at 6-foot-3 and 210-pounds, Wright already has the size and shows physical superiority on the field. He hauled in multiple passes from Annis on Friday night in a 38-21 win over Hollywood McArthur.
Wright has nearly every big offer you can think of, but has mentioned Miami, Texas, Florida and Ohio State as the schools that currently stand out the most. The Hurricanes have been on a heater when it comes to landing top blue-chip offensive skill. Lennear and four-star wide receiver Eli Woodard are both top-100 national prospects in the 2027 class. Sears is the top-rated athlete, and he could also decide to play offense in college.
"I do think the team setting the pace right now is Mario Cristobal, his staff led by Kevin Beard, a one-time Miami Hurricane wide receiver himself. Texas has some buzz around them, Florida is going to keep going, Ohio State, but Miami is that team to beat," Rivals/On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons said.

The appeal to Miami for Wright is in the major collection of talent that is coming into the program through the efforts of Cristobal and staff. It's hard for a player of Wright's caliber to turn down the opportunity to share the field with so many future stars.
Wright hasn't put a timetable for a decision and more than likely he's going to use the season to visit several campuses and take in some game-day experiences. It's believed that Wright will be in Coral Gables on October 17 when Miami hosts FSU.
In a perfect world, the Hurricanes would love to get a pledge from Wright by the end of the year, but he's the type of prospect that you wait for and if he decides to not make an announcement until the December signing period of next year, so be it.
But once again, Miami is in a good position to land one of the best playmakers in the country. It's becoming a familiar spot for the Hurricanes to be in and it never gets old.
