Kesean Bowman is going to take his time before making a commitment and that's great news for Miami in its efforts to make the blue-chip wide receiver a Hurricane.
Bowman, a composite five-star prospect in the 2027 class from Brentwood, Tennessee, was originally going to make a decision on February 10 and then decided to move it back a couple of days to the 12th. Now he's decided to push the commitment date back indefinitely and take his time with the process. Miami has been a big player in Bowman's recruitment, along with Ohio State, Vanderbilt and a few others.

Top Miami WR target pushes back commitment date
Bowman was committed to Oregon early in the process, but backed away from that pledge in September. With Mario Cristobal and staff having been so occupied with their run through the College Football Playoffs and the transfer portal acquisition period that followed...not to mention all the drama surrounding Darian Mensah and completing his efforts to transfer to Miami from Duke.
Now it's time for the Hurricanes staff to really dig in and focus on building the 2027 recruiting class, and they would certainly like a playmaker like Bowman to be one of the gems in that group. Expect Bowman to visit campus again at some point over the next few weeks when Miami brings in top targets for upcoming Junior Day weekends.
Bowman has already been around campus at least once and took in the Hurricanes' game against Stanford back in October.
Miami currently has the No. 16-ranked class for 2027 according to 247Sports. The Hurricanes have four commits in the class — all-in-state prospects and are expected to turn up their recruiting efforts over the next several weeks. They already have a commitment from one wide receiver prospect -- Ah'Mari Stevens, a fou-star player from Hollywood, Fla.
