After a stellar performance at Miami Pro Day, the Tennessee Titans will hold an additional private workout with the potential top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Cam Ward, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Schefter also stated the Titans have become increasingly impressed by Ward and it would take a stronger offer to trade the top pick in the NFL Draft than it did previously.
Tennessee currently has Will Levis as its first-team quarterback. Levis was a second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Levis has completed 61.0 percent of his pass attempts for 3,899 yards, 21 touchdowns and 12 interceptions with an 82.7 passer rating in his two NFL seasons.
If Tennessee drafts Ward, they would likely try to trade Levis. Veteran Brandon Allen is the only other QB on the Tennessee roster. Levis was benched for Mason Rudolph after he struggled and sustained a shoulder injury during the 2024 season. Rudolph signed a two-year, $8 million contract to return to Pittsburgh as a free agent.
Cleveland with the second pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and the New York Giants who hold the third selection, also need QB upgrades entering the 2024 season. There has been some speculation Tennessee will select Penn State defensive tackle Abdul Carter with the first pick of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Ward told ESPN his performance at Miami Pro Day on Monday is all the Titans should need to see to determine he should be the first pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The first round of the 2025 NFL Draft is on April 24. A lot will happen over the next month to determine what Tennessee chooses to do with the top pick.
Tennessee hosted Carter, Colorado stars, cornerback Travis Hunter and QB Shedeur Sanders and Ward earlier this month. Ward has clearly pulled ahead of Sanders in the QB projections for the 2025 NFL Draft. Tennessee might still be considering Carter or Hunter if they do not draft Ward or trade the top pick.
