Miami defensive lineman Akheem Mesidor is the most notable change on the Friday Student-Athlete Availability Reporting Update for the game versus Stanford on Saturday. Backup tight end Jack Nickel was added to the Friday update as out after not appearing on the initial report on Thursday.
Mesidor was seen walking around in a boot at practice during practice this week. Mesidor is third on Miami and leads the DL with 28 tackles, is second on the Hurricanes with 5.0 tackles for loss and leads the team with 3.5 sacks.
Armond Blount, Malik Bryant and Marquise Lightfoot would have increased snaps if Mesidor is out. Stanford is tied for 11th in the ACC, allowing 5.71 TFLs per game and 16th with opponents averaging 3.14 sacks per game.
Linebacker Carter Davis and tight end Reiman Zebert are additions to the Stanford Friday Student-Athlete Availability Reporting Update as out. Davis and Zebert were on the Initial Student-Athlete Availability Reporting Update as questionable.

Cornerback Collin Wright is the only one of six Stanford players who were listed as Probable on Thursday who are on the Friday Student-Athlete Availability Reporting Update. Wright is a key player for Stanford. Davis and Zebert have not been significant contributors for Stanford in 2025.
Wright has started the last six games for Stanford in 2025, is fifth with 23 tackles, has their only interception that he returned for a TD and is third on the Cardinal with two passes defended. Wright is a key player who had eight tackles versus BYU and seven agaisnt Boston College in 2025.
The biggest change for Stanford on the Friday Student-Athlete Availability Reporting update is quarterback Ben Gulbranson being upgraded from probable to off the list after suffering a game ending knee injury versus Florida State last week.
Cornerback Jay Green and leading rusher Micah Ford continue to be the the most important players who are out for Stanford. Green is third on Stanford with 28 tackles, has one tackle for loss, first with five passes defended and one fumble recovery. Ford leads Stanford with 425 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
