Cam Ward isn't the only Miami star ESPN thinks will be a first-round NFL Draft pick

Will the star TE hear his name called during draft night?

UPDATE: Ian Rapoport has since reported that Elijah Arroyo won't be working out at the Combine due to a knee injury.

The NFL Combine is coming later this week and there's of course going to be a ton of attention on Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward. Is he going to end up throwing even though Shedeur Sanders won't be doing so? That remains up in the air.

However, Ward is not going to be the only Miami standout ready to make some noise. Plenty of scouts and GMs are going to be keeping a close eye on tight end Elijah Arroyo, who did himself a massive favor in Mobile during The Senior Bowl.

Throughout The Senior Bowl, Arroyo was turning heads during practices, making defenders look silly. Will he end up being a first-round pick? Not long ago, that idea didn't cross a lot of minds, but it's certainly on the table if you ask ESPN's Matt Miller:

Could Miami TE Elijah Arroyo end up being a first-round pick?

"It's really good - that's the line on this tight end class, it's great," Miller said. "Field (Yates) has two guys in the first round, I actually have three. I think Tyler Warren from Penn State, Colston Loveland from Michigan. I'll throw Elijah Arroyo from Miami in that mix as well. He had a fantastic Senior Bowl week."

If you're a Miami fan, you've got to love seeing Miller hype up Arroyo the way that he does in that clip. This past season for the Canes, the 6-4, 245-pounder hauled in 35 receptions for 590 yards and seven touchdowns. He developed a solid rapport with Ward, with the two playing a big role in Miami's offense being so electric.

Arroyo is oozing with potential and he's going to have another tremendous opportunity to raise his stock in Indianapolis. Not only is he going to look to impress on the field, but he can make a name for himself during his interviews with the press and meetings with scouts/team personnel.

Xavier Restrepo is another Miami stud who probably won't have to wait too long to hear his name called, though we don't think he'll be a first-rounder. He's more of a Day 2 lock, we believe. Ward could end up going No. 1 overall and then Arroyo could be taken by the end of the night as well. How sweet would it be if Ward and Arroyo both go on Day 1? It'd be something Canes supporters everywhere would celebrate in style. It'd bring a smile to Mario Cristobal's face too.
