College football analyst Josh Pate recently dropped his top 5 ACC quarterback rankings on X. Pate, who has made a name for himself via 247Sports and CBS Sports, has built a following on YouTube and other social media platforms. His latest rankings goes as follows: Cade Klubnik (Clemson), Carson Beck (Miami), Haynes King (Georgia Tech), Kevin Jennings (SMU), and Miller Moss (Louisville).

Cade Klubnik (Clemson)
Klubnik was a beast in 2024, throwing for 3,639 yards, 36 TDs, and just 6 INTs, while also rushing for 463 yards and 7 TDs. He finished with a QBR around 78.7 (12th nationally), completing 63.4% of his passes and earning 148.2 passer rating.
Carson Beck (Miami, ex-Georgia)
Beck spent 2024 at Georgia before transferring to Miami. He threw 3,485 yards, 28 TDs, and had 12 INTs, with QBR at 80.9 (8th in FBS). In his two seasons as a starter at Georgia, he went 24–3, piling up 7,912 yards and 58 TDs. Beck had elbow surgery late in 2024, ending his season and causing him to pass on the NFL draft initially, then enter the transfer portal.
Haynes King (Georgia Tech)
King brought solid dual-threat production in 2024 with 2,114 passing yards, 14 TDs, 2 INTs, and a QBR of 78.6. He completed 72.9% of his passes and added 587 rushing yards with 11 TDs on the ground.
Kevin Jennings (SMU)
Jennings busted out in his first ACC season, throwing for 3,245 yards and 23 TDs. He averaged 231.8 yards/game, completing 65% of his passes. SMU averaged 36.5 PPG and ended up making it to the CFP.
Miller Moss (Louisville, ex-USC)
In 2024 at USC, Moss put up 2,555 yards, 18 TDs, 9 INTs, with a QBR of 74.4. He completed 64.4% of passes and had 135.1 passer rating. Notably, he began his USC tenure with a bang as he threw for 372 yards and 6 TDs in his first start.
