Beck has another opportunity in front of a national television audience to boost his Heisman Trophy candidacy when Miami hosts Florida on Saturday night on ABC with a 7:30 Eastern Daylight Time kickoff. Florida is 26th nationally, allowing 12.7 points per game; 27th with opponents averaging 264.3 total yards per game; and 42nd in passing yards allowed per game at 177.3. Florida padded their defensive numbers in a 55-0 win over Football Championship Subdivision Long Island in their season opener.

Florida allowed 38 combined points in losses to South Florida and LSU in the past two weeks. LSU and USF averaged a combined 353.5 total yards and 241.5 passing yards per game. Florida allowed 112.00 rushing YPG against LSU and USF. Beck could have another big game versus Florida.
