EA Sports made the College Football 27 cover official Tuesday, putting some of the sport’s biggest current names and one national championship-winning coach at the center of its next release.

Oregon quarterback Dante Moore, Miami wide receiver Malachi Toney and Ole Miss running back Kewan Lacy are featured on the Standard Edition cover of EA Sports College Football 27. The Deluxe Edition cover includes Texas edge rusher Colin Simmons, Notre Dame cornerback Leonard Moore, USC quarterback Jayden Maiava and Indiana coach Curt Cignetti, along with mascots and game-day imagery from across college football.

The game is scheduled for a worldwide launch July 9, with a full reveal set for Thursday.

The Standard Edition cover is built around three offensive players who broke out through during the 2025-26 season. Moore is coming off a season in which he threw for more than 3,500 yards and 30 touchdowns. Lacy rushed for more than 1,500 yards and scored 24 touchdowns in his first season at Ole Miss. Toney, who began his college career at 17, set Miami's single-season receptions record with 109 catches and finished with more than 1,200 receiving yards.

Toney’s place on the Standard Edition cover is one of the more striking parts of the reveal. He reached the cover after only his freshman season, and Toney called the opportunity meaningful after growing up with the game.

"Having this opportunity after only my freshman year means everything to me. I'm incredibly grateful for the support of the Miami community, and this honor of knowing EA believes in what I'm capable of deepens my drive to show up for the program and the fans who have believed in me from day one."
