With the 2025 NFL Draft ending on Saturday, the hopes of an NFL career is not over for the players who did not hear their name called. Instead, it is only beginning. Players will have the ability to sign with teams as an undrafted free agent or accept an invite to camp. These are the players from Miami that will be starting their pro careers with something to prove:
Xavier Restrepo, WR — Tennessee Titans
Restrepo is Miami's all-time leader in receptions (200), receiving yards (2,844), and receiving touchdowns (21). He signed with the Tennessee Titans and reunites with former Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward, who was the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Jacolby George, WR — Carolina Panthers
George recorded 130 receptions for 1,929 yards and 17 touchdowns during his Miami career. He joins the Carolina Panthers as a UDFA with a good amount of guarenteed money.
Daryl Porter Jr., CB — Buffalo Bills
Porter transferred from West Virginia and played three seasons at Miami. He accumulated 108 tackles, 18 passes defended, and one interception in his college career. He signed with the Buffalo Bills.
Mishael Powell, S — Minnesota Vikings
Powell transferred from Washington and played his final college season at Miami. He tallied 130 tackles, seven tackles for loss, 15 passes defended, and eight interceptions over his college tenure. He signed with the Minnesota Vikings.
Simeon Barrow, DL — Atlanta Falcons
Barrow, who spent his final collegiate season at Miami after transferring from Michigan State, signed with the Atlanta Falcons. He recorded 140 tackles, 27 tackles for loss, and 16 sacks in his college career.
Received Minicamp Invites
A handful of former Miami players will get a shot in the NFL with minicamp invites, but did not sign with a team as a UDFA. Each franchise will host a minicamp of rookies who were drafted, signed as free agents or just invited to try out.
