It was bad enough Fletcher Loyer had to end Miami's amazing season by going completely en fuego, to lead Purdue to a 10-point win over the Hurricanes, but did he really need to add insult to injury?
Loyer, who almost had a perfect shooting day, decided to twist the knife a little more by flashing the upside-down U as he walked off the court.
“Yep, thanks.” straight to the upside-down-U.

It's bad enough Loyer had to completely destroy any hopes of the Hurricanes getting to the Sweet 16 by pulling off his best Steph Curry impression. But why have you got to be so mean man? What did them 'Canes ever do to you?
Fletcher Loyer crushed Miami and then mocked the 'U'
How hot was Loyer? Dude went 6-of-7 from the floor and hit all four of his 3-pointers. On top of that, the senior hit all eight free-throw attempts. Sometimes you just have to take your hat off to a guy that can't miss and can't be stopped. It wasn't that Miami played badly, but Loyer was just that good.
Fletcher Loyer could not MISS today 🚂

"I think it's just putying in a lot of work, putting in a lot of time and trust in myself," Loyer saiid to explain his shooting prowess. "But a lot of it comes down to keeping your legs ready to have that burst and speed. Also trusting your teammates to find you when you're open."
But he didn't have to go there, right? I mean that was unnecessary. It's one thing if you throw up the upside-down horns after beating Texas. No one likes Texas. But why is this man trying to become a lifelong enemy in Coral Gables?
Listen up and listen good Fletcher Loyer, you may have won today and for that you get all the spoils. But Miami will catch you down the road somewhere. Maybe you'll be coaching against the Hurricanes one day or on the roster of a team playing the Miami Heat. Whatever it is, Miami won't forget!
